The Art Guild annually awards a $2000 scholarship to one William Monroe High School graduating senior intending to study art in college, and is now named to honor Lillian Baird. A scholarship committee oversees the application process, reviews the portfolios submitted, chooses whom receives the award, and presents it at the seniors award ceremony in May.
Congratulations to Nick Shaller, our 2025 recipient. Nick will attend Virginia Commonwealth University.
This award is made possible by revenue gathered from Guild fundraising activities, donations, and membership dues.
