Instructor – Sue Stover

JABA, 222 Main Street, Stanardsville

Cost – $60 for class plus $15 for supplies, $45 for Art Guild members for all three classes.

Description – During this class you will learn some more advanced techniques and learn how to manipulate color, the style in which you paint and the colors you select. To begin, you will quickly paint a small painting of a photo the  instructor will provide. Then you will learn a few new and freeing techniques and take some time to practice them. They will show you how to ‘control’ the watercolor and work with the facets of this gorgeous medium. After the practice we will then take skills learned and use them to create a free-flowing painting of your own.
